The tour lasts for three hours, starting from the writer’s house on Nof Street and descending to the bench at the street’s end. Throughout the tour, there will be stops for explanations and readings from his books. We will descend from the city to the desert.

A magical journey in the footsteps of the writer who lived and wrote in Arad for three decades, influenced by the desert landscapes that surrounded him and shaped his thoughts and writing.

Embark on a journey that’s more than just a trip—it’s an experience. Join the last Nabatean as he guides us through the realm of perfumes and spices. Through his tales of adventure and challenge in Arad’s desert, we’ll navigate the encounters with crawling creatures and other desert dwellers.

Under the canopy of a starlit sky, we’ll venture out on a nocturnal excursion, seeking to unravel the desert’s enigmatic charm. We’ll come to understand the essence of the city as it surrenders to the night, prompting all those who thrive in darkness to emerge from their sanctuaries—some driven by hunger, others by love.

Campfire Tales Evening

For those who are attentive, curious, and intrigued listeners, an enchanting experience awaits. Join me as I bring the ancient art of storytelling to life around the warm glow of a campfire in a Wadi, the hotel lobby, a cozy Zimmer, my own garden, or by the crackling wood fireplace in my living room during the winter.

You will be captivated by the epic saga of the lost Dan tribe, beyond Kush Mountain. Discover the tale of the Dead Sea’s revenge on humans. Tel Arad Exploration

When we pause in modern Arad, it’s only natural to seek insight into the ancient origins from which the new Arad has evolved. Embark on a tour of Tel Arad Antiquities for an unforgettable journey through time. Discover a 5000-year-old Canaanite city interwoven with biblical significance. Uncover the remains of a citadel from the era of the House of David.

At the heart of the citadel, archaeologists unveiled a temple reminiscent of Solomon’s temple in Jerusalem. Complete with a courtyard, a hall, and the Holy of Holies, this remarkable discovery includes replicas of the covenant tablets and a striking underground water system.

As the day winds toward late afternoon, savor the breathtaking view from the citadel—stretching across the southern Hebron mountain and the Arad valley.

The mountains around us, each with its unique name, will also tell their stories, overlooking the blue and salty lake. On a moonlit night, the lake is silvered by the moonlight or during a sunrise spectacle over the Moab Mountains, we’ll experience the poignant story of the Dead Sea and its fascinating and indescribable emptiness, while witnessing the uplifting spirit.
